1:1 Guidance
My 1:1 coaching and guidance sessions provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to work through distressing emotions, thoughts and conflicts. Together we’ll shed light on the hidden patterns that could be causing or contributing to anxiety and stress. These sessions can also also be useful for parents who are doing ok but want to learn how to feel and function even better.
-
Sessions are available for parents, couples or care-givers (either in Wanaka or via phone or google meets).
Coaching packages of between 4-12 weeks are also an option. In these sessions we focus on understanding, exploring and resolving individual challenges at a deeper level resulting in increased self-awareness, growth & fulfilment -
Through personalised coaching sessions, I help teens navigate the challenges of adolescence with confidence and resilience. Using evidence based modalities like mindfulness and CBT, I support teens (including neurodivergent learners) and those struggling with emotional regulation and stress to develop self-awareness, build resilience, and embrace their unique strengths.
Family Support & Mediation
As a family mediator, I provide an unbiased, safe and supportive environment for families to navigate difficult conversations and conflicts. Parents can benefit greatly from the support of a professional mediator, skilled in listening and communication. An independent professional who guides a process safely to create a bridge and resolve conflict so that everyone in the family benefits.
-
When couples are in a crisis situation, a mediator is a quick and useful process that helps resolve recurring problems in a safe, confidential, and informal way.
The process allows each person to be heard, seen and validated. Many couples find it a deeply valuable experience as the focus is on finding mutually agreeable solutions in a respectful and collaborative way.
-
Separation and divorce is one of the hardest experiences to go through and can be an emotionally challenging time. Mediation coaching services provide an empathetic and understanding environment for couples. I help navigate the challenges and conflicts that may arise during separation and help families find solutions that are best for all parties involved, while maintaining the emotional well-being of everyone. Research indicates that the best predictor for child well-being after separation is having a meaningful relationship with both parents and a low level of conflict between the parents.
-
I provide a supportive environment for parents to work through solutions to challenges that arise. I assist in finding solutions that benefit the children and the entire family, while understanding the emotional challenges that may arise during the co-parenting process

In addition, you will be educated on brain development and learn how to support your child’s wellbeing as well as understand how your parenting style can affect the neurological and emotional development of your child.

I believe that everyone is born with a burning desire to live their highest life mission and fulfil their unique impact. Project Wayfinder is a toolkit for teens developed out of Stanford University d.school, which recognises that students who have purpose in their lives are happier, healthier, more engaged and resilient. Purpose amongst young people has also been shown to facilitate identity, decrease engagement in risky behaviours, increase positive attitudes towards diversity and increase academic engagement.
The ultimate goal of the programme is to empower teens to take positive action in the world and develop the skills, practices and mindsets that cultivate their personal strengths, self-awareness and resilience to navigate life’s challenges and step into their full potential.
They learn that twists and turns in life are normal, and they develop the resilience and ‘agency’ to overcome challenges and thrive, no matter the circumstance
Tailored workshops are available in Wanaka
Testimonial:“What I found valuable was that it helped to provide direction that I needed to develop my ideas. It was very motivational and encompassed many different important aspects that are vital to a healthy and happy life. Life-changing, thank you so much for everything”
FAQ
-
A family coach is a caring professional who helps families improve their relationships and communication, resolve conflicts, and achieve their goals. Whether your family is struggling with a breakdown in communication, behavioural issues or separation challenges, a family coach can provide support and move your family towards optimal wellbeing.
-
Connection is everything. Seeking help can sometimes be hard as there’s so much pressure to maintain perfect relationships and suffer alone through the difficult times. Reaching out for help isn’t a sign of personal failure, it’s more of a sign of a desire to grow and evolve, of humility and awareness that there is something else.
A way to figure out if coaching is right for you is to schedule a free 15 minute chat to discuss your goals and concerns, and see if it feels like a good fit.
-
Family coaching can help with a range of issues such as communication breakdown, sibling rivalry, values conflicts, teenage defiance, behavioural problems in children, relationship issues, co-parenting challenges, separation, or parents simply wanting to improve their relationship skills.
-
Children of more mindful parents trust their instincts, have enhanced resilience, self-regulation and emotional awareness. They are more positive and have healthier relationships.
-
I work collaboratively with families to find solutions that benefit everyone. By understanding your unique values and needs, I support your family to work through difficulties and overcome challenges by exploring your underlying beliefs and concerns.
Our first session is an opportunity to talk about the challenges you are having and involves getting to know you a little and hear about your concerns. If you feel we are a good fit and wish to proceed we then take time to explore further the core issues that influence your parenting or relationship issue, unpack unconscious beliefs, learn new skills and implement the right evidence-based strategy.
I will then follow up and regularly check in with you and your family to see how it's going either by text or phone.
-
It depends on the complexity of your concerns - usually 2-3 sessions however for more complex situations it can be 10 or more.

“While you may believe your most important challenge is to raise your children well, there’s an even more essential task you need to attend to,which is the foundation of effective parenting. This task is to raise yourself into the most awakened and present individual you can be.”
